Chris Sutton was the Partner responsible for the transformation of the East Gallery, funded by Threadneedle Investments, within a venue that provides space for contemporary figurative artists to exhibit and sell their work. A single volume was made possible by the architectural approach of removal, stripping back to expose original finishes and construction, to reveal the true scale of the space and, by introducing new rooflights and unblocking original windows, the interior becomes naturally lit.
